AIRS-J/1 · Assessment

Register for assessment.

AIRS-J/1 Assessment runs on StepSim, the official instrument. StepSim is an AIR APAC initiative, built and operated by Exeter Labs. The owner of AIR APAC also owns Exeter Labs, and the Standard declares this common ownership in section 4.9. It reaches organisations through the trainers and L&D teams who already run their sessions. AIR APAC decides every result by the rules in section 12 alone.

Who registers

Through a trainer, or your own L&D team.

1

Trainers and training providers

Register to run AIRS-J/1 Assessment with the organisations you already serve. You bring the client, run the session and lead the debrief; StepSim supplies the scenarios, each person's record and the session report. Your client stays your client: when they write to us, we pass their message to you.

2

L&D teams

Register to run AIRS-J/1 Assessment for your own managers. Your team runs the session in the same way a trainer does.

3

Organisations

Tell us which trainer you work with, and we pass your registration to them. If you do not have one, we introduce you to a trainer who runs StepSim.

The organisation that commissions an assessment receives each result by name, and candidates are told this before they start (section 12.6). An individual may also present for assessment independently (section 4.3); to do so, contact AIR APAC.
