AIR Academy, AIR APAC's learning division, runs instructor-led programmes for managers and teams: half a day, one day or two days, in person, with cases written for your sector. Your people practise real workplace decisions with AI, then learn to check the answer before they act. An optional, separate assessment can lead to certification under AIRS-J/1, the public Standard for Judgment in AI-Enabled Work.

A Review Board and an External Academic Reviewer

A named Review Board reviews every major version before release. The External Academic Reviewer, Prof. Mudiarasan Kuppusamy of Curtin University Malaysia, is named in the Standard.

From Answers to Decisions: practical AI training for managers

For managers who make or approve decisions using an AI assistant. Each edition starts with a simulated decision made your usual way and ends with a new case of the same kind, so the group sees how its checking changed.

Outcomes

By the end, participants can

  • Make a business decision their usual way, then name what it missed and whether that changes the decision.
  • State the real decision behind a request, and what is fixed, before asking for an answer.
  • Test the claim an AI answer rests on before acting on it.
  • Bring in the people who must agree, and say when AI drafted the work.
  • Make a decision they can explain, say what would change it, and name one change to how they and their team check AI work.

The method

Four questions before you act on an AI answer

  • Structure: What is the real decision here, and what is fixed?
  • Test: What would show this answer is wrong, and have I checked it?
  • Engage: Who must agree, who must know, and what must I not hand over to AI?
  • Perform: What will I commit to, on what basis, and what would change my mind?

What each format includes

  • Half day: a written session report.
  • One day: each participant leaves with a written change to how their team checks AI work, with an owner and a date.
  • Two days: a workshop on applying the method at work, a report for the sponsor, and a manager review within ten working days.

Certification

Certify your judgment with AI: AIRS-J/1, Professional track

Certification is open. Arrange a separate assessment of how your team makes decisions with AI, or register on your own. Certification comes from a separate assessment on StepSim, not from attending a course. The assessment records what each person checks and how they explain their decision. Those who meet the published rules earn a credential valid for two years. Anyone can check it free, by code, on the public register.

Singapore's High Court has made named lawyers pay personally for citing cases that do not exist. One said a junior had used an AI app. The court held that the duty to check cannot be passed to someone else. Courts in Victoria and Hong Kong have also criticised unchecked AI material.
