Speaking and convening.

AIR APAC convenes working sessions on AI readiness for governments, boards and the partners who advise them. The institution is the convener. What follows is what a convening is, what is on the record, and the one route to ask for one.

What a convening is

A convening is a working session, not a keynote. AIR APAC brings the evidence that applies to the organisations in the room, puts one decision in front of them, and leaves a written record of what was agreed, what was ruled out and what is still open.

The work starts from the published record, not from a slide about the future: the AI Readiness Pulse for the markets represented, the Index method behind it, and the AIRS-J/1 Standard where the room is deciding who judges AI work and against what. Where a session needs a deliverable, the deliverable is a memo the participants keep.

Formats are sized to the room rather than sold as tiers: a closed briefing for one delegation, a workshop for a leadership group, or a session inside a conference programme. The founder speaks in his own name; the engagement is contracted with AIR APAC.

On the record

What has happened, and what may be named. Consultation participants and client cities stay private until written consent is recorded, so the closed work is described by form and not by name.

  • Public session

    How AI Sees Your City

Session 2 at the 10th TPO Forum in Taichung, on what AI engines say about a destination when a traveller asks, and what a tourism organisation can do about the gap.

  • Closed briefing

    A national delegation

A closed briefing for a national government delegation, run from the same evidence and the same method as the published Index.

  • City consultations 2026

    Consultations with tourism organisations

A series of city consultations run with tourism organisations from the same method, each with a written memo for the participants.

On naming

Client cities and consultation participants are not named on this page. Consent is recorded in writing before any participant, city or organisation from a consultation appears on an AIR APAC surface. What is published here is the form of the work and the public conference session, nothing else.

One route in

Ask for a speaking or convening date

Write to AIR APAC with four things: the audience, the date, the city, and the decision the room has to make. That is the only enquiry route for this work, and the only purpose it serves.
