The formats

Four formats, one practice instrument

Each format is a facilitated session or sessions with StepSim practice inside it. The trainer leads the room; StepSim carries the missions.

Certification edition

Any format above, plus an assessment sitting on a separate half day

The sitting runs within 30 days of the programme, on its own half day, with three held-back missions run under a proctor and scored by rule. Exeter Labs operates the sitting and AIR APAC decides the outcome under Section 12 of the Standard. What is bought is the sitting, never the outcome. The certification edition is never the opening offer: it follows a programme.

Inside the sitting

Scoring

How certification under the Standard works

Common ground

What every format shares

Practice

Participants practise on real decisions

Not on a quiz and not on a textbook case. The missions put the group inside decisions of the kind their own work contains.

Debrief

The session ends in a named action with an owner

A facilitated debrief, in the room, ending in one action that has a person's name against it. Nothing is left as an insight without an owner.

Separation

Training and certification stay apart

Practice never awards a certifying result, the public cases used in sessions are permanently ineligible for the certifying item bank, and the Standard's Section 12 rules decide every outcome on their own.

Enquiries

One purpose, one message

Tell us the format, the group and the market, and we answer with what is possible and what it costs. No price is published here, and no funding or registration claim is made anywhere on this page: fees are agreed per participant or per session for the format and the group size, and never on an outcome.
