Day 5: One decision, written in full

About ten minutes, on paper or in a note. Nothing is submitted.

Day 5

One decision, written in full

  1. Take one decision in front of you now.
  2. Write it in full: the action; the reason; the owner; the evidence it rests on; the condition that would change it; the date you will check.
  3. Read it back. If one line is missing, that is where the risk is.
  4. If you lead a team, one more step: tell them one thing about how you now use AI, for example that you say when AI drafted something. Then ask one question: "Tell me about the last time an AI answer surprised you. What did you do?" How your team checks AI answers today is where leading its use of AI starts.

That is the first session's method, practised five times. The next session, Critical Thinking with AI, is a half day of practice on testing the claim a decision rests on. To ask for the next date, use the button on the toolkit page, or write to hello@airapac.org with "next session" and your event code. If you lead a team, write "team" and the event code, and we arrange a call about running the programme for them.

Either button opens an email to hello@airapac.org. Your address is used to answer that request and for nothing else.
