Every task is a real task from your own desk
No sample data, and no case study from another industry. The artefact you finish with is one you use on Monday.
AIR Academy is the public front door to the training arm of AIR APAC. The programmes are assessment-informed and outcome-oriented, and they are delivered in cohorts, not as one-off training. The deeper pages sit at ../academy/, and this page is the way in.

AIR APAC builds organisational capability and leadership judgment, not individual tool skills. Participants leave with a prioritised, organisation-specific roadmap, not theory.
No sample data, and no case study from another industry. The artefact you finish with is one you use on Monday.
The six readiness components are the same ones the diagnostic and the re-score use, so a cohort can be read against a Scorecard result.
Certification under AIRS-J/1 is a separate assessment on a separate instrument. No course awards it, and training content never enters a certifying item bank.
A six or twelve-week cohort for senior executives preparing their organisations for AI adoption. Participants finish with a prioritised roadmap for their own organisation.
Cohort dates are set when a cohort is filled, and none is set today. Enrolment for this cohort is an enquiry through the contact page: it is a place requested, not a place held.
This cohort is not the Academy's Level 2. They are different programmes: this one is for senior executive teams, eight to twelve organisations at a time, and Level 2 is a sponsored destination-organisation cohort of up to 25 places. Neither one is a step in the other.
AIRS-J/1 certification sits outside every cohort. It is a separate assessment against the Standard, and completion of a cohort confers nothing toward it.
| Stage | Theme | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | The Readiness Gap | Why AI initiatives fail before they start. |
| 02 | Leadership and Culture | The People components that govern adoption. |
| 03 | Capability and Process | The workflow and skills components. |
| 04 | Data and Governance | The evidence and control components. |
| 05 | Roadmap development | Translating findings into a prioritised plan. |
| 06 | Implementation planning | Sequencing the work after the cohort ends. |
A one-and-a-half to two-day session with the executive team, built for leadership teams carrying competing visions for the role of AI in the organisation. The outcome is shared understanding of the readiness gaps, clear 90-day priorities, and a transformation mandate the team has signed off together.
Availability is agreed with the team on enquiry. Two or three concurrent advisory engagements are the limit, and an intensive is scheduled around them.
The Academy tree carries the full catalogue: the method every course is built on, the six programme entries with their format, price and status, and the declared interests behind them.
Twelve short videos over four weeks. They are free to anyone, permanently, with no account. The founding cohort, which adds the weekly clinic and the written comments, is free to TPO member cities for that one sponsored run. No video has been recorded yet.
Six weeks for a destination organisation and its partners, with a weekly live call, four assessed assignments and a StepSim capstone.
Ten modules for managers and knowledge workers in any field. The decks and scripts are done and nothing is recorded.
Six to eight weeks online for trainer partners, with one live session a week and a capstone session with a real group.
Facilitated formats built around StepSim practice, with a certification edition that adds an assessment sitting on a separate half day.
The method every course is built on, all six catalogue entries with their status today, and the declared interests.
StepSim, the official instrument of AIRS-J/1, offers practice against the nine judgment dimensions: framing the real decision, interrogating machine-generated evidence, escalating what cannot be delegated, owning the consequence. StepSim is an AIR APAC initiative, built and operated by Exeter Labs. The owner of AIR APAC also owns Exeter Labs, and the Standard declares this common ownership in section 4.9. The dimensions and their behavioural anchors are public and free to read.
Practice awards nothing: no certification, no credential, no observation, and no place in the register. Practice content is kept apart from certifying content, and a candidate may always present for assessment without it.
A place in a Level 1 cohort is asked for through the TPO Secretariat, not here. Anything else about the Academy is an enquiry through the contact page, which keeps its purposes separate.
The Secretariat holds the roster for the one run open to TPO member cities. Writing to AIR APAC directly does not add anyone to it.
Cohorts, formats, the facilitator programme and the certification edition. State which one you mean, and the enquiry goes to the right place.
