The AI Readiness Index: 1,000 Asia-Pacific organisations, scored on the AI work they show in public.
We read the public record of 5,820 organisations across 23 Asia-Pacific markets and six sectors. The 1,000 with the strongest public evidence are published by name, each with a score and the evidence behind it. Free to read. No organisation can pay to be included.

Findings
What the data shows
Three findings from the Q2 2026 edition.
Proof
Organisations are easy to find, but most do not yet show proof of their AI work
Nearly every organisation in the Index can be found by search and AI systems. Most have not published proof of what they can do with AI, such as dated case studies, named leads or AI hiring.
Lowest signal
Organisations announce AI plans faster than they show AI hiring
Capability visibility, which reads public hiring and role signals for AI work, is the lowest of the five public signals.
The gate
3,359 of 5,820 cleared the evidence gate
We screened 5,820 organisations. 3,359 had enough public evidence to score. The 1,000 with the strongest evidence are published by name, with a full evidence profile for each.
Why it matters
Why the public record matters to an organisation
Invisible is not the same as absent. Buyers, investors and partners often treat a missing record as missing work.
Capital and customers screen before they call
Investors, corporate buyers and procurement teams build a shortlist from public material long before a meeting. A company absent from that material never reaches the shortlist.
Partners and talent read the same record
Prospective partners and senior candidates check what an organisation says about its own AI work. Silence is often read as inactivity.
AI assistants now answer the question first
When someone asks an AI system what a company is doing with AI, the answer is assembled from public sources. A company that publishes nothing lets other sources describe it.
The index
Where to find the results
Every one of the 1,000 published organisations carries a full evidence profile. Four views hold the results, and each answers a different question.
The market index
One page per market: its reading, its numbers, its most visible organisations and its dossier where one is published.
The sector index
The same 1,000 read by sector, with each sector's organisation count, average score and number in the regional top 100.
The company profiles
One evidence profile per published organisation: its signals, its market and sector, its visibility tier, its score and its evidence grade.
The tier ladder
Pacesetter, Momentum and Emerging: what each tier means and how many organisations hold it.
The measure
How a score is built: five public signals
Each score is built from five public signals. Being easy to find and showing AI evidence carry half of the score between them.
- 25% Discoverability Whether search and AI systems can find and identify the organisation.
- 25% AI and Digital Evidence Public evidence of AI, data, analytics, automation and digital activity.
- 20% Platform and Data Footprint Public references to cloud, SaaS, ERP, CRM and platform maturity.
- 15% Freshness and Authority Recent third-party coverage: launches, partnerships, awards, news.
- 15% Capability Visibility Public hiring and role signals for AI, data, analytics and digital work.
